October 21, 2008- Peachcrest Christian Church is opening their parking lot for the 4th annual “Light Night” on October 31, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Peachcrest Christian Church is having a community event for children of all ages to come and enjoy. Light Night will be a safe and secure environment for children to trick-or-treat.
Light Night is an alternative to the typical Halloween. It is one location with lots of lighting. There will be moonwalks, carnival games, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, and lots of candy. Every half hour Peachcrest will be giving away door prizes for families and parents who come, we depend on local business to donate door prizes. This year we have received prizes from Stone Mountain Park, The Atlanta Ballet, The Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Imagine It! Children’s Museum, Carmike Cinemas, Georgia Tech Athletics, The Gwinnett Gladiators, and The Center for Puppetry Arts.
Every year this event gets larger and larger and we would like to see families from all around the south Gwinnett cluster and surrounding areas to come out and join us.
For more information on Light Night you may contact Cash Hunter at (770) 982-1200 or at cash[AT]peachcrest.org.
