A Loganville couple has been charged with murdering their 6-year-old adopted son.
The boy died Monday, four days after being rushed to the hospital following a 911 call Christmas Eve. Louis David Jones, 39, and Jami Lea Jones, 36, are being held without bond in the Walton County Jail.
On Christmas Eve, police received a 911 call from the Jones' home on Bay Creek Road [Loganville GA] about an "unresponsive" child, Bruce Wright, chief deputy with the Walton County Sheriff's Office told the AJC Tuesday.

Boarding is broken up into two parts...daycare and sleepover. The daycare portion starts at $18/day and has discounts based on which card the client would like to purchase. The sleepover part is $12/night with a 10% discount for 8 + nights. There are also multiple dog discounts.

Dog agility event at Petsmart Loganville
The Dog Spot of Loganville will be presenting agility, rally, and clicker demonstrations at PetSmart of Loganville on December 19th and 20th from 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Anyone who wants to see how their dog will do on a basic agility and/or rally course may run their dog through for a $5 donation which will go to BLISS Animal Haven to help support their rescue efforts.
There will also be an art auction with artwork by Snellville artist, Darla Dixon. All proceeds from the auction will also go to support BLISS Animal Haven's rescue efforts.
The Dog Spot will also have a booth set up with information about their doggie daycare, boarding, and training services.
In addition, Bulldog Rescue will have some of their dogs available for viewing and adoption. There will be raffles and bulldog rescue calendars for sale to help support their rescue efforts. Come on down to PetSmart with your dog, have some fun and support rescue!
