Multi Family Garage Sale Loganville rescheduled

This multi family yard sale that we wrote about previously has been rescheduled for May 1st and 2nd.

Loganville truck driver has been charged

Following up from this news story from yesterday, charges have been filed against the truck driver from Loganville who ran into a toll area with his truck in Nova Scotia. He has been charged with "failing to drive a motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner."

The driver was allowed to return home to Georgia, but he must return to Nova Scotia to face the charges.

The vehicle will be inspected to make sure that a mechanical problem didn't contribute to the accident, which sent 2 people and the truck driver to the hospital.

Loganville truck driver crashed into toll booth

A trucker from Loganville was involved in an accident in which his semi truck slammed into a toll booth in Nova Scotia.

The driver was with POWA Express Trucking Company, based in Snellville, according to the 2nd article below.

The truck driver had minor injuries, but a tollbooth worker had broken ribs and scrapes. Another man was injured from flying debris.

Loganville multi-family yard sale

NOTE:
due to a sudden death in this neighborhood, this subdivision's garage sale will be rescheduled for next Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd.


This coming Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th from 9-4 pm will be a neighborhood garage sale in the subdivision of Sierra Ridge located off Ozora road in Loganville.

The location is about 3-4 miles from the 20/ Ozora road - Cooper Road intersection past Bay Creek park. Look for signs.

There will be at least 5 families hosting the sale.

Hooters waitresses fight & injure man who entered their car

Loganville police arrested a 40 year old man after he allegedly entered a vehicle of two 19 year old women in Loganville. The young women were Hooters waitresses. Apparently the man observed the women walking into the Loganville Wal-Mart store. While they were in the store, the man entered the vehicle and found some photographs of the women in their Hooters uniforms. He put the photos in his truck, and then returned to the car of the women. When the women returned, they fought the man. One women slammed the man's leg in the car door.

The man was arrested but is out on a $5,000 bond.

Loganville Police Department officer Artie Turner told The Walton Tribune Childers said he was waiting for the girls because “they looked easy” and he had a conservative girlfriend.
